Sean Cook has spent the last few years wandering the planet playing in the band Yves Klein Blue. In that time he has played a lot of the big festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Falls, BDO, Laneway in Australia and SXSW, Musexpo, and the Great Escape Festival in the US and UK.
Whilst doing this there was lots of logistical interrelations including stints of tour managing, through these experienced he gained an invaluable degree of knowledge of the many different forms of the Australian and International music industry. From the grass roots of doing it yourself, through the relationship with record labels (Dew Process), Booking Agents (Village Sounds) and Management (Secret Service, Footstomp Music).
Sean has also pursued his passion for recording and seeing young bands develop through his production work which has involved working through the demoing stage with many local bands and produced an EP for The Honey Month release in August 2010. He continues to do this with stints working at Applewood studio with renowned Australian Producer Magoo (Regurgitator, Art VS Science).
2011 will see Sean joining the Footstomp Music team in a mentoring and production capacity.
